When class demos give you scraps...you make art! I enjoyed taking what seemed to be a toss-away piece of paper and developing it further with oil sticks to create a fun and uniquely-shaped piece of art!

The title came about because the colors reminded me of backcountry camping and the contrast between the campfire glow and the brisk weather you experience on a fall outing in one of California's gorgeous parks.
