INSPIRATION
I use acrylics, acrylic mediums, and drawing media to create a texture that I call "faux encaustic," that closely replicates the look and feel of pigmented beeswax. It is created on cradled wood panel to further give the illusion of being encaustic art.
Inspired by hues of the desert landscape, I have created a series of 10 panels in a color way that I call "Indian Summer."
They look great together as a set of any quantity or by themselves, even though two in the set of ten have slightly different dimensions, which adds to the organic and natural sense of the series.
