INSPIRATION
Inspired by the 50s/60s/70s music that I like to listen to while I paint. They are jazzy and funky and full of life. The works from this collection are themed with titles from Stevie Wonder songs.
The idea for this piece was to become more gestural with not only my drawing materials but also with my brushwork. I also switched my use and balance of whites and creams to play more of a supporting role instead of being the shining star.
