Collection: Spring 2021 Series

For this series, I wanted to explore the color yellow and call this collection of work, "Amarillo." Inspiration for the yellowy hues and shapes came from photo references of various desert flowers that have yellow blooms. I love spending time in Joshua Tree National Park and wanted to put a spotlight on the more vibrant side of desert life.

Some pieces you can really see the connection to the reference and others are much more deconstructed. I gave my yellows a partner color, green, to enhance the botanical feel.

All of my artworks are original, one-of-a-kind pieces. Each are created with high quality, artist-grade materials and signed on the back. I work in oil, acrylics and mixed media.
